Enjoy waves of cosiness at your own local coffee shop in Geneva.
We all need the occasional energy-snack to get us going, don’t we? Many of us would even place our beloved coffee at the very pinnacle of the food pyramid. That is why the BIRD wouldn’t be the same without its cosy coffee shop. And while we can indeed supply an almost infinite flow of the precious beverage, we naturally offer a whole range of many other options! So for lunch, you can either go for a healthy bite at the COFFEE CORNER or a great and nutritious dish at our cosy self-service ESPACE SAVEURS or some even slightly more elaborate cuisine, served in an elegante ambiance, at the restaurant LE NEST.
What’s a snack-bar if not the perfect place for a time-out and a bit of well-deserved rest? At BIRD, we are big believers in providing not only the goodies, but also a homely, easy-going atmosphere, so that our users can sit back and refuel properly! At the COFFEE CORNER, we want to provide snacks that make you happy in a space where you can truly relax. And if you really must talk shop, then you can do that, too, of course. Just have a cup of something while you’re at it!
The BIRDHOUSE’s socially responsible project is the result of a partnership between the Fondation Apprentis d'Auteuil International (FAAI), the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève (EHG) and Gourmet Brothers.
At the COFFEE CORNER, for instance, young school drop-outs are offered the opportunity for an apprenticeship in one of the restaurant’s hospitality trades. As a work integration restaurant, and with the constant professional socio-educational guidance, the BIRDHOUSE offers to 15 young people the opportunity to access a dual training course, leading to a federal diploma.
